August 12 at CDC

The Red Mic Repertory Company and Unidentified Stages are proud to present Destigmatized: A Night of True Stories from women, uterus-owners, and allies refusing to go back at CDC Theatre in Cranford, NJ, on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 7:30pm. This performance will benefit Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF), fights to advance and expand access to sexual health care and defend reproductive rights. PPAF is a 501(c)(4) organization, and donations are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution or business expense.

Following the devastating news regarding the leaked SCOTUS draft decision, which accurately indicated the imminent overturning of Roe v. Wade, Emily Miller and Colleen Renee Lis, co-founders of Red Mic Repertory Company reached out to Alicia Whavers and Angelle Whavers, co-founders of Unidentified Stages to discuss what could/should be done. The two companies have officially partnered to develop an original play entitled Destigmatized, comprised of true stories written by our respective company members. We’ve rallied our company members to perform these original pieces on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 7:30pm, at CDC Theatre in Cranford, NJ. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

Tickets will be a suggestedcash donation of $20 at the door; alternatively, we will be accepting online donations via GoFundMe to benefit Planned Parenthood Action Fund:
